Salvatore Sciandra: Attorney Profile

Since 1974, Salvatore Sciandra has distinguished himself as one of the leading criminal defense and personal injury attorneys in the Central Valley.

Mr. Sciandra was a public defender in Fresno County from 1974 to 1983, where he served as Chief Trial Deputy. There, he defended homicide cases, including those that carried the death penalty. He also served as supervisor to the Public Defender's Felony Trial Team.

In 1983, he opened his private practice, specializing in criminal defense and personal injury. Well known and respected in the community, Mr. Sciandra has handled many high-profile cases through his practice.

He has taught at San Joaquin College of Law and has lectured for various groups that provide training in criminal practice and trial advocacy for the legal community. Additionally, Mr. Sciandra has served as Judge Pro Tem for the Fresno County Superior Court.
